Anchorage Design Week

Anchorage Design Week is a project of the Anchorage Museum that celebrates the way design contributes to the community. For 2018, the theme for Design Week was ‘Proximity’, referencing the principle that plays on the arrangement of elements to convey a message and create relationships. Using this designated design principle, Design Week explored individuals’ relationships with design, facilitated networks within and beyond the local design community, connected the design disciplines, and celebrated Anchorage’s proximity to design around the world.
